Picture this…

It’s January 1st, and the excitement of the New Year is in the air.

It smells like opportunity.

You’ve already mapped out your goals—both big and small—feeling ready to take on whatever comes next. But here’s the difference: because you committed to the Winter Arc Challenge in the months leading up to New Year’s day, you’re not just hopeful, you’re confident. You’ve built momentum, stayed consistent, and now, you know you’ve got everything it takes to crush those goals.

The work you’ve been putting in has set you up for success, making the new year feel like just another step in the journey you’ve already started.

What is the Winter Arc Challenge?

The Winter Arc Challenge is a 90-day self-improvement challenge that requires nothing more than your own discipline and desire to do better. The Winter Arc Challenge encourages participants to focus intensely on their personal goals from October 1st – January 1st to improve both internally, and externally as the new year approaches.

The overall idea is to become a new version of yourself after turning inward, self-reflecting, and choosing positive habits to stick to, intentionally.

The “Winter Arc” is not one size fits all. It is fully customizable which makes it a lot more fun! This challenge can be as intense as you want it to be, but the goal is to stay disciplined and consistent throughout the 90 days.

If you decide to join the thousands of others participating in this challenge around the world, and October 1st has come and gone, don’t worry! You can start anytime within the last 90 days of the year.

This challenge is perfect for ANYONE looking to create healthier habits, and is a must-try for those passionate about self-improvement.

How to Create Your Own Winter Arc Contract

Your Winter Arc Contract, a list of rules that you choose to follow during the challenge, should be specific to you, and the person that you want to become. Before writing out your list of Winter Arc rules, take some time to reflect on who you want to be at the end of the challenge, the new habits that you’d like to adopt, and goals that you’d like to accomplish.

You can start by reflecting on how you want to improve mentally, physically, and spiritually. Most goals tend to fall within these 3 main categories.

Begin listing your winter arc rules on a sheet of paper. You can either create one list of rules, or place each rule into a more general category.

Examples of Winter Arc Rules

I will not press the snooze button.

I will go to bed by 10pm during the week.

I will workout at least 4 times per week.

I will read one chapter before bed.

I will meditate every morning for at least 5 minutes before starting my day.

I will journal once a day.

I will get 15 minutes of sun daily.

How to Succeed at the Winter Arc Challenge

Don’t be too hard on yourself. “Success” is in the effort that it takes to uphold the winter arc rules that you set for yourself. It is the positive personal changes that happen throughout the challenge that matter the most. Perfection is not the goal, self transformation is.

If you break one of your rules, no worries! It’s a great opportunity to reflect on why, and what you can do to do better the following day. Don’t give up, no matter what.

Whether you choose to commit to 90 or 60 days, the Winter Arc Challenge is a great segway into the new year!

Who says that you have to wait until New Year’s day to become someone new?
